How do you crush a crush?

There's a guy at my work I like a lot. I haven't liked anyone this much in a long time but even if he did like me back or this went somewhere now is not the right time for it. Which doesn't change that I'm mooning over him and it's very distracting and kind of depressing. I'm in this awful cycle of being silly with anticipation of seeing him, forcing myself to disengage and try not to interact when he's there, and then becoming sad and disappointed when he leaves.

This is also making me kind of stupid because two weeks ago I overheard him say "...showering you with kudos and accolades," and my knees felt like jelly and I thought "He knows words!" which is pretty ironic considering him using them correctly renders me incapable. *eyeroll*

Time. Time heals all wounds. And try to get involved in other things so you don't have time to get all moony about it. And that's about it as far as I know.
