I dunno, I just found his stupid antics in an otherwise dark game amusing. I mean there's a ton of hidden or unintentional humor with the way the game works, but Cicero was the one brand of intentional humor I saw, so I took a liking to him.

I can see why you wouldn't, though. :P

He is one of the few NPCs who acts completely different from most of the other NPCs, which is why I like him.

Ugh, I thought he was obnoxious as hell. Through out the Dark Brotherhood questline I thought I was going to kill him...but I ended up sparing his life.

It was too easy a kill. If my character was going to kill him, I wanted him at full strength dammit. Weird reasoning, I know.

Well, he actually was. Bastard was just faking it. If you attack him he springs back at full strength.

It's just like with Lucien Lachance, you either love him or you hate him.

Some of my friends give him a grisly death, others adore him. I think he's funny, but I leave him in the sanctuary- he talks too much.

i liked the spectral assassin the first time i played through but by the end of the main quest i was mockingly reciting every single thing the fucker said by heart.

I played the DB questline completely unspoilered and wow!

i don't like him - he creeps me out tbh - but i thought his cause was good (or as good as an assassin's cause could be) and i thought astrid was really egotistical about the brotherhood's tenets. so i've never actually killed him when given the chance, despite knowing he's manipulative and weird; i just pick him over astrid every time it comes up.

that being said i don't know many people who like him, i think the general consensus is that he's super annoying.

That's kind of a given if you play the Dark Brotherhood questline. at least killing Cicero makes me a consistent monster!

I'm kind of torn about him. On one hand? Yeah. Super annoying, and a bit creepy. On the other...His brand of creepy/crazy fits perfectly with his role in the game. He's not supposed to be completely sane - and the fact there are comments you can take to mean he's a little more...familiar...with the night mother than is probably proper adds whole layer to it for me.

Plus, I really didn't care for Astrid. -shrugs-

i like him, but only because one of my friends absolutely detests him, so its fun to talk to her about how great he is

I fully expected to hate this guy, but that annoying little fucker grew on me so fast and I'm still not entirely sure why. I know it's partially 'cause I feel sorry for him due to his tragic backstory, and partially 'cause some of his awkward and creepy little sayings crack me up, but beyond that, I dunno.

Ho ho ho, and hee hee hee! Break that lute across my knee! And if the bard should choose to fight, why then I'll set his clothes alight!

I despise his voice, really. That's the only thing I don't like about him, especially after I read his journals and realized how awful his life previous was.
