I tried Zombies, Run!
And I ran a mile and a half today.

I think it was the first time I've ever been able to run for more than two minutes without getting a stomach cramp. I've always gotten a stomach cramp. Not today, not for a minute.

I don't run. That's a fundamental fact about me. Zombie-induced existential crisis. O.O

I got the app after a discussion here a few weeks ago but haven't tried it yet. I physically can't run but it says it's ok for walkers, too. I really need to go to the gym and try it out, I just haven't had the motivation :(

you don't have to go a gym to walk

AYRT - Some people do and I'm one of them. For me, it's because I have leg injury that makes walking very difficult and there is no telling that if I set off on a walk from my house that I'll be able to determine what my halfway point would be. I've gotten myself stranded more than once and had to call someone to come get me. I don't have that problem if I walk the small indoor track at the gym or use the treadmill.

Welcome to the club. Exactly the same thing happened to me. All my friends think I've been replaced with a pod person.

I really want to repurpose my fiance's old iPhone JUST so I can get this app. Everyone here has spoken really highly of it, and it seems like something that will get me consistently working out, rather than doing it so sporadically.

I feel you. I hate running with a passion and all that talk about Zombies, Run! is making me want to try (and I don't even have a system able to support that application).

Okay. So grabbing this app now! (that is, after talking to my dad how much it costs to his bank account. Stupid financial dependence.) .

Oh, financial dependence. How I dream of being rid of you.
