Orphan Black?

Trailers all over for this lately. Is it an import? Based on a book/comic? I also want honest opinions of it/its source material (if applicable) which is why I'm here, instead of LMGTFY.

All I know of it is that SPACE is pushing it really hard, so it might be a Canadian show? I know it's also showing on American BBC tho.

I'm going to give it a shot when it comes out.

It was produced by BBC America and sold to some BBC Worldwide partners.

I'm face-blind so I don't have any plans to watch it.
