Malaysia. I usually drink them if the mamak stalls and restaurants serve it. It tastes both sweet and sour, but it usually varies from stall to stall. But the one that's constant is that if done correctly, I would drink it in a heartbeat! :)

I saw your recipe upwards! I'm definitively trying it as soon as I get my hands on some dried plums.

If I may, let me share a recipe from my country too, in the name of delicious cultural exchange ;D

Ooh, thanks for the recipe info! I don't know if the local hypermarket sells any husked wheat, but I'll try and see if there's some around! :)

At least try the juice from the dry peaches ;D It's very very refreshing. It's everywhere here, specially in summer. We like to down liters of the stuff.
