What kind of game? I haven't been hanging around Spanish fens since Hetalia and groups on Tinierme, but if you like I can share the link to some old acquaintances who might be interested.

I'd be enormously grateful if you took a look and shared the link to your friends. I have faith in the premise, and we even had some threads going back in October, but we had too few players for it to work (there were just four of us!), and now I'm trying to re-open it.

Ngl, pitching IJ might be a bit difficult, but I'll certainly try o/

I know :( IJ used to be the best place for a RPG, with all the icons that come with a free account and all, but with the latest changes... tell me, do you think we should move to DW?

I think IJ is technically better, specifically for icons, but it's the account creation/invitation that can be offputting to some who come outside of journal-based rp. As I don't have much else to say about IJ since I've never bothered to have or use one (I'm more inclined to read than participate), the only other thing I can say is ask your members how they feel about it, and whether a move is fine for them.

DW has it's own disadvantages, the layout being the bigger one for people who don't use browser plugins like Stylish to widen up threads section.

I've gathered the few people we have and are already discussing moving to DW for the series of benefits it has (with the downside of the icons ;;). Currently the moving is winning. I think it could be a good opportunity to start annew.

Thank you so much for your input <3 I'd be really, really grateful if you could redirect people to the OOC comm at IJ so they could read the premise... and well, since the OOC comm is pretty inactive, we're also organizing things at Facebook. Which is far from being the best platform, but at least it's quick. Tell them to add them! I'm "Lynx Bahamondes" there, and I'm willing to explain absolutely everything to make people feel as welcome as possible.

For a multifandom game, DW is probably the best place. DW is where the rpers interested in that kind of environment already are. Like... it kinda seems that in the divide of RP topics, IJ is where the majority of the OC games went, and DW is where the fandom games ended up. Plus there is a crop of people who won't join IJ for a variety of reasons. (I think server instability and the 'edgy' insanity theme being the biggest ones).

As for advertising. There is

app_this_plz which goes up every first of the month in which there is a chance both to advertise games, as well as advertise as a player looking for a new game. If you are not against anoncomms, you can also try advertising over at

rpanons which usually has a game advertisement thread up as well.

The last days have been busy with discussion with our (VERY FEW) members. We're talking about moving the RP to DW, but it's not decided yet... Anyway, thanks a lot for the input, it's really important to me to make the game as friendly as possible.

I'm joining the comms you linked to me for advertising. Let's hope I get lucky! There aren't many Spanish-speakers in any of the blogging platforms, but I really want to make this work :( If you know anyone who could be interested, please let me know! Or redirect them to my FB account (in which I'm organizing this stuff, since the OOC comm at IJ is pretty inactive).
