(Anonymous) 2013-03-13 07:42 am (UTC)(link)it's not "victim-blaming" to point out that, unless they are being physically held captive, a typical adult has the ability to get out of most situations. children and animals don't. that's why laws state that parents/guardians and owners are responsible for them - because they can't take care of themselves.
