Uhh it's only slashfic that uses quivering. I see quivering cunts all da time.

I once read something that had quivering butt-cheeks. I'm not sure why the writer thought that was a good idea...

I don't think quivering anuses are only the property of slashfic, though. I see them in hetfic with some regularity. Fictional buttholes be quiverin', I guess.

There are so many words I associated with fanfic, it's kinda hilarious whenever they show up in something else (newspapers, academic texts, random articles). Always gives me a private chuckle.

For me, it's "clenched". Makes it kind of hard to read books by Stephen R. Donaldson.

The word 'slick' is one I can disassociated from fandom. In actuality, there are TONS of words that fandom has ruined for me haha

Well, fuck. I'm working on a fic that doesn't have quivering anuses (nor quivering members) but it did have a person who was left quivering after a particularly powerful orgasm. Now I'm thinking I ought to find a different word.
