I agree BUT ALSO I just wanted to encourage everyone ITT to read Teppu, because it owns. It's a manga about a girl who does mixed martial arts, and it's entirely free of sexualization and mostly just about her, and how much she likes to kick ass, and her kicking ass, and other female MMA fighters kicking ass. It's very realistic but also completely awesome. Okay my plug is over now.

Yay, someone else who likes Teppuu! It has pretty much everything I want in a sports manga and it's awesome.

I saw someone say that it's essentially a sports manga told from the perspective of the villain instead of the protagonist, and I think that's very true, and also it's awesome. Also, I really wonder what's going on with the main character's brother, but I guess we'll have to wait for more volumes to find out.

(Also I should say I don't really agree with OP's secret, I kind of just wanted to talk about Teppu)

That's quite spot on when I think about it - Yuzuko's your enthusiastic hot-blooded shounen hero(ine) and Natsuo's the nasty-face rival out to defeat her, and it's refreshing to see the story from the other side for once. As for Natsuo's brother, one theory I've read is that he used to be bullied, then Natsuo saved him once, but he was made fun even more for being saved by his little sister so he grew to hate her instead. I don't really subscribe to it but it's pretty interesting.

BTW, any news on whether the author is off his hiatus yet?

Teppu is the greatest omg. Tough gals are my thing exactly and Yuzuko is a horrible person in such a delightful way it's amazing. It sucks so much that there hasn't been a release since last year though... (as far as I've seen??) :\

Though it's nice to know that someone likes my body type. Most people when they figure out I can bench press my own body weight tend to freak out.

Uh apart from the large chesticles, I have a similar build to the character in your secret except with a bigger bum. Although I have a feminine figure I am also very muscular. I wouldn't call my personality hyper-masculine though.

When and how did 'chesticles' become a word? It sounds really gross and offputting to me. YMMV, of course.
