And speaking of which, I miss this show so much and I cannot wait until it's back. This long break better not hurt its ratings and chances of a renewal.

It's not perfect, mind you, but entertaining enough.

Not exaaaactly, though. In the Emberverse, as I understand it, even rifles don't work. But in Revolution, anything that doesn't depend on magnetic fields works fine. So the dynamo may not work, but lightning itself is still a viable phenomenon, and people definitely use guns.

True, Revolution keeps the guns, but the premise is similar enough - especially the "science doesn't work and now some youngsters travel through the divided America to find out what caused the magical apocalypse over a dozen years ago."

I don't get the Miles/Charlie shipping at all*, but Danny/Charlie just shouts at me. I mean, she doesn't actually even hunt out there, just hangs out with Danny and shit.

And she really takes his loss hard, so yeah okay my incest shipping brain should just stop, write the fic, and be done with it, heh.

* Yeah, yeah, Genetic Sexual Attraction, total strangers meeting after years, etc. But Miles seems to have a real thing for Nora and just kind of looks exasperated all the time at Charlie.

Oh, I see Miles/Nora, too!

And I kinda got all asldkfjasldkfj about Miles losing it when Charlie nearly died and her being so happy to see him in the midseason finale and her making him promise never to leave her after Maggie died.

Go write the Danny/Charlie fic! I'm sure people will read it and be interested. I may end up reading myself.

I don't ship them (But I can see how you would. Pairings like this tend to be hit or miss with me; I ship Gibbs/Abby but can't see Artie/Claudia and have no idea why.)

this. The "Run, you idiot!" moment was golden; I'd only warmed up to Miles an episode or two from the end, and none of Charlie's tribulations really hit hom for me, but then this. Hilarious and heartwarming and the main reason I'm impatient for it to come back on instead of having forgotten by now.

This, basically. Charlie is totally girl!Dean, y/y? I mean, I only watched a few episodes of this show before giving up on it, but I really got that vibe from her. Danny seems way wimpier than Sam, but idk, maybe one could conceive of pre-series Sam being similar to Danny.
