Today I got it in my head that I should be organizing things. But I couldn't possibly, I don't know, get my own life in order, so instead I'm undergoing a F!S index! So, follow the link, find your fandom, and see what people were saying in January of 2007. (Also, I barely remember how I functioned with the old comment system that really wasn't a system at all.)

Heed the warning at the top, though, and don't come whining to me if a six-year-old secret caught you by surprise in the days before spoiler and trigger warnings.

NOTE: I'm not really doing any research on these secrets or scrutinizing hard-to-read ones. So, if you don't see your fandom listed, that doesn't mean there were no secrets about it. There's a GENERALLY FANNISH/UKNOWN FANDOM category at the top. There are many anime and video game secrets in those posts. When I get to the era of "Name the Fandom" threads, I'll check that on unfamiliar things, but that's the extent of it.

Right now, everything is alphabetical. Let me know if you think of ways to make it better. This is just something I'm doing when the mood strikes, but I'll drop a note here when I update. Oh, and if it matters for your browser's search function, all fandoms/people are listed in ALL CAPS.

Definitely. I'm sure not going to plow through 6 years of F!S in a couple days or anything, but I imagine I'll eventually get caught up. Maybe with some big breaks in between when I get bored of it.

And I'll give an update on progress. Probably not when it's like "I've added one more day!" but maybe when I get through every couple of weeks or a month or something.

This is amazing though, thanks for doing it! If you keep it up that is going to be A LOT of work, so don't feel pressured; I doubt anyone would blame you for quitting. Still, it's neat and I'm sure everyone would like having an archive of secrets for their fandoms.

Wasn't Technophile trying to organize something like this a while back? I remember he'd post secrets from years ago and ask if anyone could identify the fandom, for the "coming archive".

Don't get me wrong, I think yours is looking awesome too! But perhaps you could combine your powers ~~like Captain Planet~~?

I vaguely remember that, but it didn't seem to ever happen, and I got bored.

I'm back at it, and it's so weird to see a secret that says OP writes to save characters whose histories and personalities "have been RAPED (by other fic writers)" and see in the comments that not a single fuck was given about the terminology used.
