Pretty sure all the characters (especially the assassins) from the previous games were treated like that, too. People like shipping attractive characters, and people get their kink on for rape and abuse. Honestly, it's pretty stupid to chalk this down to Native Americans being abused irl - stop it. It seems like, aside from that, you're upset that it's so popular. Hey, I get it sucks when you can't find fic that interests you, but why get mad that people like and respond to the usual kinks? This is not somehow unique to this game.

I guess the difference for me is that, with previous games, I could always easily find stuff that I found enjoyable. Now, when I look in these same places, it feels very different. I get people get off to different things, and I guess that's fine. Maybe the rape/no rape ratio stayed the same and there's just not that much influx of fic right now, I dunno. But it's definitely more difficult to avoid now, at least in my experience. *shrug*

I'm not trying to say Connor gets so much abuse specifically because he's NA, but I wish people would sometimes take a step back and look at this more critically, given the reality of it (which I'm not even sure many people know about in the first place).
