TLDR: VS's shoes are shit.

So, I love Victoria's Secret. I love their style (well, a lot of it anyway) and have had really good experiences with the quality of their stuff. I've heard other people complain about fit and quality and whatnot but I've never had a problem. Their bras and panties fit great and any clothes or PJs I've bought there were high quality and lasted for ages.

In yellow XD. Normally not my style (I'm not usually that casual), but I loved the lacy feminine play on them and the style is really in lately so I wanted to try them out.

I just got them today, and they're REALLY cheaply made. Like, I would expect that kind of quality at Wal-Mart, that's how bad they are. And I wore them for about a half hour and they're already fraying pretty badly towards the front seams. I'm so disappointed! And a bit outraged..I mean, how dumb do they think their customers are, charging almost 70 dollars for a pair of shoddy shoes?

Anyway, long post, but I'm going to return them tomorrow and am sad. I just wanted to warn people in case they wanted to buy these shoes. They SUCK. Maybe all of their shoes suck, I don't know, since this is the first pair I bought.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. FWIW, I'm one of the people who's been complaining for the last 10 years or so about how VS has gone way downhill with quality, fit, and style. I can't remember the last time I tried on a bra there whose straps weren't spaced to go way off my exceptionally broad shoulders and I miss the sexy stuff they used to specialize in. Now it's just a few sexy items and a lot of cutesy things I can buy anywhere for less, be it lingerie or pajamas or sweats.

YES! Why are they selling shoes? And street clothes? FYI: polka dots are not sexy. I want sexy underwear and I want it to fit. Why don't they do that anymore?!

See I like both the sexy and cutesy styles, so they're like my go to for underthings and PJs. I do think their quality has gone down a bit, especially with their bras, but since I usually buy things during their semi-annual sales and whatnot, I've never really minded. Their stuff still lasts a lot longer in nice condition for me than others I've tried, whether it be lingerie or sweats.

Probably the only complaint I've ever had about them is that they don't do their fitted cup lingerie in A sizes (I'm a 32A). I think I've written to them more than ten times telling them how ridiculous that is considering they sell A cup bras. Quality wise I've never really had a problem, which is why I was so disappointed about the shoes...and you don't get your shipping fee back when you return things. :(

call their customer service line and demand a return shipping label for the defective product because it is their responsibility to pay for the shipping

I've never seen an A-cup bra in a VS store that wasn't padded all to hell and back. They also never seem to have a lot of B-cups in stock. Whenever I open the drawer for my size (34B) there's only ever two or three bras in there so I have basically no color/pattern choices. (I know I could try on what's there then order the color I want online, but why should I have to? That just introduces another step and I'm more likely to just go to another store in the mall for a bra.)

I'm not sure but I think B is the most popular size, and they probably just don't account for it because they're idiots. It's like how everywhere I go, medium size is always out. I'm glad I lost some weight and am now a small size, because finding medium sizes was always such a bitch.

And you're absolutely right about the padding, but I think that's on most of their bras, seriously. Like, I think they just want everyone to look like they have bigger boobs. You don't get a choice according to them.

It's really tragic how when you go into a lot of "up market" stores these days, the quality is just as shoddy as other, lower-priced stores. Might as well go to wal-mart!

I rarely have the money to spend $70 on shoes, but when I do, I want to be making an investment into something that will be long-lasting and well-made. I do not want to be ripped off.

It's shameful that companies like VS are peddling shitty products and still expecting consumers to pay full price.
