Is that Devlin Waugh with Dredd? I may have to buy some back issues.

(I'm more of a Sinister Dexter fan but nice to meet another Dredd-head)

Well, if haven't read 2000 AD before now, just be aware that there have been tons of amazing comics in there -- not just Dredd. And the vast majority of those won't ever get the movie treatment, so don't do the same mistake twice. You have some amazing reading ahead of you, OP!

OP -- yes I have been reading the other comics too. Good stuff in there :)

What gay Judge Dredd comic? Got a link?

It's odd. I've been a Judge Dredd fan for decades and it never crossed my mind to slash him, although I could be convinced. Are there even any online communities for Dredd fans? (like on LiveJournal, Tumblr or Dreamwidth).

It's from the past month or so. It's not actually about Dredd being gay...it's about a closeted gay guy (despite Mega City 1 having perfect equality, in general, there's still some bigots, and this guy was raised by one), who dresses as a Judge as a kink thing. A couple pages were posted here.

Thanks! :)

OP - no, there are no online Dredd slash communities, hence the secret. There are a few fics on AO3 but nothing that really strays into slash territory.

god anytime anyone says "le sigh" i just roll my eyes. i feel like adding "le" to english words was a thing back when i was in fucking middle school.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-17 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
You do realize that adding "le" to words comes from the old Chuck Jones Pepe Le Pew cartoons, right? It's just a joke.

Well, I don't know much about the Dredd fandom aside from the fact a lot of the guys from Anthrax are comic book fans and fans of Dredd. One of their early albums is a Dredd themed one.
