Both, the enjoyment out of it for Ramsay was to flay them and then leave him like that until he actually begged for his fingers/toes to be cut off because he was in so much pain.

It's described after the fact, not as it's happening, and not in much detail. Pretty much just what agirlnamedtruth said. The worst part is all insinuation. Does that help? That probably doesn't help.

...Actually that does help. From the comments to a secret the other day, I read it as the scenes were written play-by-play, as well as with Jeyne Pool. It made me decide to not read it, so maybe I will if it's just in insinuation. I can just skip over that paragraph or maybe even the whole chapter. D; Ramsay just gives me the creeps, I can't believe people fangirl over him.

I feel like the show is far worse as far as gore/torture/rape than the books were. There was stuff in the first two seasons that my fragile sensibilities couldn't handle, which is a problem I never had with the books (even the Theon parts), so it might not be as bad as you're picturing.

Also, I believe it's either all mentioned after the fact, or fade-to-blacked before shit gets real.

Oh please, I'm offended here! It's much more simple: I couldn't imagine terrible suff happening to a real person, however tempting it was, so I casted him into this role so I could be imagining him, but not really, like watching an actor perform. I'm ashamed for wanting Criss to suffer in the first place, but that's why it's a secret.

Because I need to get some inner revenge on Darren bloody Criss to make my peace with what once used to be my favoirite tv show and has turned into a pile of sh*t since he came along. Yep, we ex-gleeks are crazy.
The actor's fine and does his role justice, but he's so not the point!

OK, look, Blaine is a dickbag, but I'm 95% sure this is Ryan Murphy's fault for making Blaine a dickbag. The show did not devolve because of Darren Criss. The show devolved because Ryan Murphy is a fucking dickbag.
