If I had to guess, I'd say your writing is average and you write about subjects that aren't the centre of attention in your fandom.

Because, yeah, I know how some people are going to come in and tell me how they always find underrated amazing stories in fandom and how it's always the worst stories that get the most reviews because they're trendy- but honestly, in most fandom's I've been in, the really good and talented writers did get their deserving amount of respect. If you get nice response most of the time, your writing is probably not bad.
