It's all very clearly subjective, because I don't find anything about her fascinating at all, unless it's the extent of her lack of talent when required to do anything beyond her inane brand of tripe. (Go track down the live performance she did with Stevie Nicks. It was so atrocious that some of my friends who don't know who Swift is remember it.)

So talent, no. Not at all (which may be why she's still doing high school girly break up love songs - they aren't musically challenging at all). And I wouldn't call her drive "ambition", I'd call it "narcissism".

Then again, there are stars and music I enjoy that others wouldn't, so whatever flips your switch.
