I always liked to imagine a true OT3 where Chell, Tulio and Miguel fucked each other indiscriminately.

It's certainly my head-canon that they all live happily ever after as an OT3 couple of awesomeness.

That was my initial impression, but upon re-watching it recently, I got the sense that Tulio was banging both Miguel and Chell, but Chell and Miguel were just friends.

Well aren't Tulio and Miguel canonically together? The only thing they did to hide the romance was change the dialogue a bit.

I didn't think it had quite graduated to canon. Was there subtext? Sure! Did it go beyond that? Not so much.

Instead of looking for someone exactly like him, try thinking about which traits in him are most attractive to you - the curiosity, passionate optimism, friendliness, loyalty, etc - and prioritize those in your relationships.

That way, you avoid the trap of getting hung up on the character as your Perfect Mate To Whom No Mortal Man Can Compare.

Men "like Miguel" (kind, a child at heart, cheeky and playful, respectful, nondiscriminatory...) are definitely out there. Too bad that ever so often they're already off the market when you really get to know them
