Yeah, okay, that makes sense. Although for me it was also counteracted by Drift freaking out about the DJD and wanting Ratchet to kill him before the DJD got there and Ratchet flat-out refusing. And by the clearly friendly bickering during Shadowplay.

Trolling sparkle!Drift was certainly one of the one-off high points of the series. I snorted root beer all over the table by accident when I read it. XD

I did not destroy my copy of the comic at that point only because by the third issue I'd learned not to read it with anything in my mouth. Roberts has excellent comedic timing.

The orange on Drift's face from Ratchet's wet hands after he gagged him didn't hurt, either. :D

I didn't even notice that. (And then I went back to look, and spent a solid thirty seconds giggling at the sparkle!troll panel.)

I didn't notice the fingermarks until second read. I still wonder if it was from Roberts or one of the artists.

And, yes. Troll!Drift was amazing. I have it as an LJ icon because of its awesomeness.
