Haha, I now want to ship Maaya Sakamoto/Yoko Kanno now. I've never thought of shipping Maaya, even though I've been a huge fan of her music for years. But you mentioned that, and I was "Shipping Maaya?...maybe with Kanno..." I haven't watched much Ouran, but I'm curious about Suzumura/Maaya now. Maybe you could tell me about it? :)
Everyone else hated him as Edward but... I guess I'm not a "true" fan. :( Hate his personality in real life though. Ugh.
Really? I've always gotten the impression that everyone loved him as Ed. I thought he was great myself! And he's a nice guy in terms of signing autographs and stuff, but I think the fame he got from doing Ed kinda went to his head and he thought he could say whatever he wanted about fandom and no one would care. He's still nice to his fans, though, and I like him as an actor. I'm not a Tsubasa fan, but know I'm curious about what you mean by him failing...I'll have to get the DVD off of Netflicks then!

XD Well, I like to think there's something secretly going on with SuzuKen and Maaya. I noticed they tend to be cast together where their characters can be shipped together.
In the Final Fantasy VII compilations, Maaya is Aerith, and SuzuKen is Zack and Zack was Aerith's first love (or so she says apparently). And the Zack game coming out soon has me going RABURABU right now because of the things Zack says to her. XD
In Ouran, Maaya is Haruhi and SuzuKen is Hikaru. Hikaru had a crush on Haruhi. :3
In Gundam SEED Destiny, Maaya is Lunamaria and SuzuKen is Shinn and even though I never got very far in Destiny, I heard both characters became very close. I can't remember is Lunamaria had a thing for Shinn.
As for the Vic Mignogna thing, it's kind of old now but he's a homophobic, from what I've heard him say in videos. He basically said "yaoi is a fangirl's fantasy scribbling over the author's story" and he said Fai "likes the girls"... and even though I'm HORRIBLY behind in Tsubasa, I can see Fai/Kurogane and *SPOILERS!* in current chapters there's a lot more of it because of Fai's situation in becoming a vampire, losing his eye and drinking blood from Kurogane. He makes fun of yaoi fangirls and thinks we're all delusional and shit.
Yeah, I hear he's nice with his fans, too, just he's really cocky. D:

Ugh, I have such problems with that!
1. Boy's Love exists, as well as non-canon straight pairings. If he thinks that about yaoi for those reasons, he'll have to think all non-canon pairings are like that, regardless of gender.
2. Does he know about CLAMP's previous stories? Full of homoerotic subtext! Chances are, Fai will either a. be gay, or b. is left sexual ambiguous. But not 100% straight in canon.
I don't even watch Tsubasa and I only read the first two volumes of manga, but I want Fai/Kurogane to happen just to see want Vic says...xD Knowing CLAMP, it might...
OMG VAMPIRE!FAI?! Maybe I have to start reading Tsubasa now...
