You're not alone! Past things I've researched include Russian myths and fairy tales, the history of sex toy and condom use before WWI, the care and keeping of guns, how autopsies are done, and martial arts styles. Right now I'm delving into philosophy and learning what exactly the job of an EMS entails.

I like learning random facts like that, too, and the touches of realism it adds to an RP is more than worth it.
