exactly. That's why Jake is all "You're *NOTHING* you are!! nothing..."
And why Jake's looking at Mickey when he runs up with this look of pride and then the look of horror and the Doc is all looking at Jake knowingly and Jake recognises that it's *not* Ricky at the same time that Rose realises it's Mickey.
And why he was all jumping on him and grabbing him back into the van all worried, and... why he sort of shoved Mickey behind him out of instinct when they thought there was the cyberman, and why Jake sorta grabbed Mickey to hug him etc when they succeeded, because it was all... momentarily forgetting...

There was a cut line where Jake reveals it, but Davies removed it because it was a cheap oneshot and ruined the feel of the end of the episode and sort of made a joke out of a very sad situation, and made Mickey sound homophobic when he was more just surprised...

And... do you wonder why you never see Rose and Mickey 'reuniting' 'properly' at the end of the series?
