2. Oh god, I know how you feel. I hate HikaruxHaruhi. It ruins everything. It makes me so sad for Tamaki and Kaoru. I don't know, it just breaks my heart, because Tamaki loves her SO MUCH. It wasn't fair to add the romance-triangle. :/

7. I can tell that I'd like him if I ever saw that series, but I have no idea what it is. (But he's pretty and I'm shallow. Har har.)

24. I know almost exactly how you feel. My friend who absoultely ADORES anime introduced me to Death Note, and I wasn't really into any other animes at the time. Now I kind of like a handful, but I'm nowhere near as into it as most. I'm content with about three series...es. oO; If you wanna fangirl with me about DN, I wouldn't mind. :3

I honestly don't have anything against Tamaki/Haruhi shippers, but I guess the logic of what you say confuses me. I pretty much saw that everyone treasured her in his own special way. I don't think you can just assume that Tamaki loves her more than everyone else, b/c there's no way to quantify love. But everyone has their preferences and I respect that you're just supporting your pairing and that's the way you see things. I personally prefer Hikaru/Haruhi or Kaoru/Haruhi.

Also, the poster wasn't commenting as much on how much he/she hated Hikaru/Haruhi but how much he/she hated the people who shipped them, which is offensive... so, you er... might not want to agree with the poster (or at least I hope not).

Ah, well I don't really look down on any specific shipper-groups, really, so no, but I just understood what they meant. And I was kinda distracted, so I didn't really get to explain my point well.

My problem is I'm one of those people who has the mindset of 'so-and-so was there first' (usually, anyway) and Tamaki's love for Haruhi was evident a lot earlier, and the whole ship grew on me and everything, and then all of a sudden Hikaru likes her, too, and I was like, "What? No! When did this happen?"

And also, I'm one of those creepy/crazy twincest shippers, so my first thought was, "what about Kaoru? *sadface*" XD

07) KIBA KIBA KIBA KIBA! *pimps* Ha, that's how it started with me, too. "Ooh, pretty Ishida lookalike! Must watch! Snap, now he's all crazyish and a total jerk-off! asfjkl; HE'S SO HOOOOOT!!!!1ONE" Then I got all sucked in and totally loved it despite its repetitive themes and sometimes contrived conclusions.
I guess um, moral of the story is shallowness can still get you to love a series for more than the initial shallow reason? Sure. Why not. XD

XDDD That's kinda what I was going to expect. XDD I can like some of the craziest, most evil characters (not just in manga but really in anything) if they're pretty. >.>; Do you have a link to episodes/chapters of it? :D

Kyuuketsuki (http://a.scarywater.net/kyuuketsuki/) and Mishicorp (http://a.scarywater.net/mishicorp/) both subbed it, but Kyuu seemed to be the preferred group since it was quicker to put out. It's also up in CrunchyRoll if you don't want to download the series, but you need to sign up for an account to view anything. It's free, though, so no worries.
