When people start "pouring" into your fandom and you don't like it ... isn't that a sort of unreasonable elitism? =(
More fans usually mean more fanwork, too. Which is profit for everyone.

If you didn't want them in your fandom because they were wankers, brats, etc. I could understand. But even so you couldn't do anything about that.
The best policy to adopt is and has always been to ignore the people you don't like, the end.
