Exactly. I can make his party that contains his persona's abilities plus their own individual strengths, so unless I like him (which I don't), then I have no real reason to use him.

Yes that bothers me greatly :/ Only two characters can get away with having no healing spells for me.

Yeah, that is so annoying. If you're not going to have healing spells, at least have other spells/attacks that are useful in battle and don't take away half your freaking HP making you waste my healing supplies since you can't freaking heal >:O

I think the thing that did it for me was his jealousy. Sure, it might be realistic for a guy like Junpei to be jealous about someone one-upping him, but the way he acts like such a brat about it at times is just like... no.

Besides once you get other party members.. he just becomes obsolete.

I mean, by like, the second persona you get you pretty much have most of his abilities. You can use two handed swords, too. The only times I can see keeping him in your party aside from if you like him, is if he is at a high level.

Otherwise, as characters at higher levels and with useful attacks come in, I have no use for him xD

I don't think I know anyone who plays Persona3, but I've gotten the idea from reviews and stuff that I read before I bought the game that he's a pretty popular character. Nothing wrong with liking him, but he reminds me too much of guys I've known and didn't like IRL, so my dislike is projected onto him for acting that way as well.

The thing he does in battle that pisses me off is the thing where he gets in his defense upping-loop where's it's all like: "OH, THE ENEMY IS DOWNING ONE PERSON'S DEFENSE EVERY ROUND, SO I'M GONNA CAST MARAJUDSFKLSDF WHATEVER THE FUCK THE SPELL IS CALLED EVERY TIME I'VE GOT A TURN AND MAKE YOU USE UP YOUR SP CASTING AGIALO ON THE ENEMY WHEN I AM PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF DOING IT MYSELF. HA HA." (at which point I'm just like: "CONSERVE SP BITCH").

That being said, I think he's left my party maybe three times since the beginning of the game. I'm just a lame person who hasn't switch up the party since Akihiko joined except in instances of SHINJIRO BEING AWESOME or, like, Yukari's lightning susceptibility making me want to punch things.
