It's not female biology, OP - it's a "decent human being" thing.

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat those "inferior" to them - pets, kids, waiters, servants, that kinda thing. Seeing someone treat children kindly is heartwarming because it shows that that person is not going to take advantage of their power over others.

Plus, we were ALL children once.

And OP, even if it IS as simplistic as female biology, that doesn't make it a bad thing. The world would be a better place if more people were kind to one another.
