Yeah, I wandered into a few drainage tunnels and the like as a kid that in retrospect I...probably shouldn't have...but I don't think that itch to poke around in such places is ever likely to go away. (I'd love to get involved with an urban exploration group; that's always seemed like such a cool pastime.)

I mostly went up more than down - if there was something to climb, a tree, a rooftop, a stairway, an abandoned building, I was there. I fell twice that I can remember, once concussing myself, but not really often enough to teach me to be careful.

There were also some cliffs, some caves, a hidden beach once, streambeds ... Lets just say I was rather more fearless as a kid than was probably safe. And probably also more lucky than was justified, though I never did manage to find the Otherworld.
