It's amazing how much of a mess they have managed to write in only 24 episodes. So many things are just brushed aside and when they try to write something more complex (like with Deaton and his relationship with the Hale family), it's usually full of contradictions.

Yes! When I first finished watching I went to fandom hoping that people would pick up the slack and have some interesting fic dealing with all the contradictions and complex relationships etc, but alas it's just mostly knotting and Sterek porn. :(

Probably. To be honest I haven't gone looking too deeply. Short attention span and all. I mostly rely on a few rec lists/blogs. I've seen a couple fic mention the whole Kate/Derek drama, but other than that not much. Please do feel free to send me some links or point me in a general direction!

It is HARD to find decent TW fic - go to AO3, you spend more time scrolling PAST badly-written Sterek fic than you do reading.

And AO3 still manages to be better than FFnet, because, damn, it's impossible to find anything worth reading there.

I actually am going through the show right now and watching it with a friend. We'll pause it right in the middle to go, "That's a contradiction! How do we fix this?" Then we try to create headcanons that make sense.

It takes us a long ass time to get through each episode.

I want to watch this with you and your friend! I miss watching shows with friends. It's the best.

It would be great with you could. I think we would have a lot of fun together. You know, as long as you don't mind us pausing every five minutes to either try and mentally fix something or to gripe out the taps...

We have strange priorities.

We missed it too! That's actually why we set a once a week meet up to do this. We felt we weren't seeing each other enough.

At one point I was trying to figure out how to organize a re-watch online so a bunch of people could watch it together. Something like what they do with the shitstream, so there's a little chatroom while we watch. But I never did get around to it.

Sadly my fannish friends and I all live in different states now.

How far are you into watching?
