Lewis is awesome! That is my opinion of it... Or to be accurate: Hathaway is one of my favourite characters and the show is great!

Should I watch Inspector Morse? Actually I feel mildly embarrassed that I started with Lewis. Normally I'd read the original book first then watch the show then the spin-off. Seems that for once I started from the wrong end.

:) Yeah, it's great. I don't find it eXcItINg, which means that it's probably another failed attempt at getting into a relatively big fandom, but it helps me relax the way no other series did before. It's like a cup of tea or a candy. And there's Oxford. I always try to guess which street is currently in the frame.

I think Inspector Morse is worth watching, but I am biased because I love John Thaw and The Sweeney.

Nah, you don't have to it isn't a big deal. I've watched some of Inspector Morse, but not all. In Norway we show British crime shows every Friday on NRK* so I grew up with them. And also during especially Easter we watch and read a lot of crime/mysteries.

It is a nice show indeed, I dunno if it have a fandom? I just like solving the crimes before they are on the screen and so on.
