I want to give this app a try, but I 1) suck at running 2) really suck at running 3) The streets are sheets of ice right now. Maybe when it gets warmer I'll give it a try and do brisk walking with short spurts of running.

Don't worry, I run a 15 minute mile and I still love this app. I use it on my treadmill so as not to embarrass myself.

I wish I had a treadmill so I didn't have to showcase my shame to the world, haha. I'll just start off very slowly this summer (and pray I don't get eaten by a zombie horde).

I have some kind of asthma or something (/DENIAL fuck the doctors) so running is really out of the question for me, because I can't even walk to the mailbox or up stairs without running out of breath, plus I have arthritis really bad, BUT some people are saying above that it works with a bike. :)

I used to cough up phlegm after running in high school, but I have been able to ignore it so far in life /possibly also in some sort of denial.

I can't run and was using this when I walk on the treadmill at the gym. But I haven't been able to get to the gym lately (walking in my neighborhood is out of the question), so I've been using it around the house while I do housework. It isn't ideal but it makes dusting very interesting!

There is a training program that you can try where they build you up towards running - I can't really run for half an hour either, but I'm getting there. Good luck!
