I... don't think you've seen the worst of tumblr then. I won't argue that ONTD isn't nasty but most posters seem at least grounded in reality, some of the batshit insanity I've seen on tumblr is an a whole other level.

Depends. Some people said upthread that ONTD was worse than it is now so I don't know how much they've calmed down now. and as for Tumblr, I stay away from most of the SJW crap.

Not saying Tumblr is always a lovely little paradise (and do note that I said the worst *I've seen* of Tumblr, NOT I've seen the worst of Tumblr - big difference there), but I haven't had really bad experiences there for the most part.
