Yup. I don't get folk who complain about negative or spammy dashboards when the obvious solution is to just not follow douchebags. When I want to get a general feel of all the parts of a fandom, then yeah, I'll go looking for it, douchebags included. But if it's a wholly positive view you want, it's so easy to filter.

The same can kind of be said about ONTD in that you can still enjoy the posts, but you don't have to head into the comments if you're not up for it.

Because there are too many people that keeping treating tumblr like livejournal. And get into that 'but they followed me I must follow them' bullshit. No one really gives a shit if you follow them back. The sooner people learn to leave that guilt trip mentality behind and just follow people that post things they like, the happier they will be on tumblr.

Also install xkit and use the blacklist if you need too.
