Bought someone a big candy thing for christmas once. It was kind of expensive and I didn't have much money to spend, but it was their favorite and it was gigantic, so I sprung for it. They ate half of it that day after much oohing and ahhing.

The next day they gave the other half of it to someone else. They said it was too big for them to eat, and yeah it was big (that was the point), but seriously, they could have wrapped it up and saved it for later. Or at least not told me about it. :(

That wouldn't bug me. I like sharing stuff, even stuff other people have given me as gifts, though I don't usually tell the giver about it. I just think of it as them being nice and giving a gift to someone else.
