Really? I hope so. I'll try and continue it. Tbh I'm just kind of bored of Neil Gaiman's novel formula, they all read the same to me except for the worlds they're set in.

this was yeaars ago, but I seem to remember the awkwardness being plot related in anansi boys, which is something I appreciated? And in regards to LBD, it's not in the least rational and I think it's something about the format and all the forced on camera exposition. I love lots about it, I just have problems with watching things in general. I'm actually a really terrible media fan that way haha.

It is, in fact, plot related, and there's even a passage where the narrator talks about secondhand embarrassment, but that doesn't make me feel better about it in the least.
