YES

It's a nicely done BBC show featuring Conan Doyle and Joseph Bell kicking ass in Holmes&Watson style. It is quite dark and angsty in comparison to the majority of actual Sherlock Holmes adaptations, though; the books based on it are even worse in this regard, but both the book series and the show itself are wonderful when it comes to Victorian atmosphere.

Ian Richardson plays Bell, Charles Edwards (the one who now works for Downton Abbey) - Doyle.

Ugh, I've been meaning to read something along these lines about narratives in fiction. I'm afraid it will alter my reading experience irreversibly.

Oooooh! Sounds really interesting. I like shows that are dark, angsty and kick ass.

Edith's lover is in it? Neat. And I like Ian Richardson. Super stoked to check it out now!

If you don't have to, don't, haha. It made TV watching a chore for a while when I had to do break downs of shows all the time. It really sucks when you know who the killer is right away, because of certain facets. Numb3rs will never be watchable to me because I studied it. :/
