Other than clubbing and gambling that is. I'm going with a bunch of people, anything I should check out in particular

I love walking through the shopping areas in both the Venetian and Caesar's Palace. Mandaly Bay has a cool aquarium, and all the big casions are neat to just walk inside and look around. Theater shows are super expensive but lots of places have free outside shows at night. There's the volcano at Treasure Island, the dancing fountains at Bellagio, and I can't remember any more but I know there are some. Rio has a Mardi Gras show inside every night that's free. Also, just walking the Strip during the day is fun if you go into places to look around. We like the M&Ms store and always kill an hour or two in there (depending on how hot it is outside).

Why not look up what shows are playing and when during your visit? Tigers, high-wire acts, musical numbers...there has to be something that you'd enjoy. Also, aren't there some rollercoasters on the top of the highest building in Vegas? You could do that if you like thrill rides, and there are probably more places with things like that.

Even if you don't gamble, going into the casino and observing the gamblers there is loads of fun, I hear ;)

There are some really great museums in the area. Vegas has a really rich and interesting history.

Also lots of theater and shows to check out.

Do NOT go to the Pawn Stars pawn shop. It's nothing but merchandise promoting their show. You don't get to see almost anything anyone has ever brought in whether the item was on the show or not, and you have to keep moving at all times unless you're buying show merchandise. You only get about three minutes in the shop and it's three minutes you can never get back.

Cirque du Soleil. Any of them. O ad Mystere are their two best. The Beatles Love one was weird. Ka and Zumanity were both good but I'm not sure if they're still playing.

The Titanic exhibit at the Luxor is worth the price ($35 IIRC) but I don't know about The Body exhibit they have there because we ran out of time.

The Voodoo Steakhouse is awesome but if you're not into clubbing, skip going up to the Voodoo Lounge after dinner. The Palms has an even better steakhouse but it's almost impossible to get in without a reservation that you have to make 6 months in advance. We went half an hour before opening on a weeknight and had a drink at the bar to kill time and they seated us fairly easily not long after opening. We tried to do it again on a weekend trip another time and we couldn't get in.

The steakhouse at the Palms is called N9NE. Don't let the awful name put you off; it really is the best steakhouse I've ever been to. My steak arrived on a massive platter and there was this great big bone still in it. It was like the scene in the opening of the Flintstones.

1. Grab the people you're going with.
2. Enter any casino with a lush carpet.
3. Continuously drag your feet on the floor.
4. Begin the ultimate static shock war.

if you like dive bars, double down saloon or champagne's or dispensary

a lot of people love lotus of siam, and it is good, but maybe not the best thai in america

Overheard discussion: "One place I've never wanted to go is Vegas. I don't drink, I don't gamble, and I hate Cirque du Soleil. What would I do?"

I live here, so... hang out online and avoid tourist areas unless absolutely necessary?

Buuuut not really answering your question, so lemme see. There's a lot of good shopping on the Strip if you're into that, and really, just taking a walk down the Strip can be really interesting.

Plus shows.

I visited before I was 21, and all I did was shop, go to shows, walk along the strip. Bf and I picked the worst time to go (August that year... uuugh) but it was still a lot of fun considering we couldn't drink or gamble even if we'd wanted ;)

Really wish I'd gone to see Cirque, or Titanic or any of those types of exhibits. Not sure they were on at the time though.
