You've got a point. I split my entire life basically 50/50 between the two, and while I have love for them both, it's much easier to avoid the nastiness and just follow/talk to the people you like on Tumblr than it is on ONTD. ONTD hating on everything has gotten rather over-the-top as of late and it's annoying not to be able to go into any post without seeing it. :\ I still love our LotR parties and FFAs and stuff, but...geez.
