How is your fandom doing F!S?

Um...well. I haven't actually hung out in it for a while, but it's a mix. [In fairness, my fandom is huge so it's *always* going to have a mix of some sort].

However, the corner I tend to be in is mostly pretty chill at the moment.

It's active but small. There's still a decent amount of fic/fanart coming out, but there's little to no variety in it. Most of the fic/fanart is for the same pairings, mostly one huge pairing that dominates the fandom, and there's little to none coming out for different ones. It's stagnant in that regard.

Basically the same it's always been, it's just that the fandom is smaller.

Sadly, there's not a lot of Castle fandom on DW and LJ. There's quite a bit of disorganized squee on Tumblr and a lot of organized hate on TWoP. Mostly it's hate for the writers/directors/costumers who they think are just so full of fail that the actors can't save it.

And the only actors/characters anyone seems to care about are Nathan Fillion/Castle and Stana Katic/Beckett -- never mind that there are four (maybe five, not sure about the captain anymore) other people in the regular cast. So, yeah. I spend most of my time on Tumblr.

Still fairly active. The canon has just ended, so there's ~feels everywhere you look.

Lot less anger than a year ago, though.

Long-running and fairly large one here. Slow news time at the moment, but there's a big release this fall and we're expecting news leading up to the release on a somewhat monthly basis. There's some minor releases here and there coming in the next few months too so there's that to look forward too! Exciting stuff. :D!

Pretty chill in the parts I frequent, but it's large enough that I'm sure there's some drama somewhere in it. Probably some folks finding something to complain about the release coming up.

The Avengers people are tapping their fingers impatiently waiting for Iron Man 3 to come out. I think. I've been avoiding them because I hate spoilers.

The Star Trek people are tapping their fingers impatiently waiting for Star Trek II to come out. I don't really like nu Trek so I don't care and it's a ways away anyhow.

Everyone in Doctor Who fandom has finally stopped whining about the Christmas Special but no one seems that gung-ho about the second half of the season. Most people I know seem either apathetic about or sick of Moffat.

I've withdrawn from all my other fandoms where the canon is still unfinished. Looking for new stuff atm, actually ;)

I'd say CF!!V is pretty chill right now, but we're pretty much always pretty chill. Right now, CFV is doing a high school arc focused more on character building than plot, which is GREAT, but I think we are all waiting for the plot to start up again to see what it's going to be this season. And also for various characters to show up again or to get a little more focus.

Zexal...haha Zexal. Zexal is great. Also pretty chill but. Oh man. Zexal. The Plot is just starting to kick into high gear and omg the fandom is panicking (excited panicking) it's great. Mostly because of drama with one character everyone loves and a new-ish villain who is amazing and perfect and yeah. There are probably people legitimately upset by things, but I think overall we're mostly just excited and giddy.

Zexal generally has more drama than CFV, because it's bigger and we have a Base Breaker who is also a Girl, but they're both generally pretty chill so. It's pretty easy to ignore what you don't like anyway.

Turmoil, after a fashion. People seem to really like to complain. The Fire Emblem tag has really been giving me a headache some days lately.

On the other hand, RWBY fandom is all going mental over the third trailer, as it's supposed to come out tomorrow. So that should be cool.

Very active but on the decline in terms of fic/art and has been since the second game came out - that one brought all the fangirls to the yard and made the fanboys mancrush of a certain character, which resulted in a fic explosion that it has not seen before or since.
