SA. That comment was harsh, and I'm sorry.

I really do understand how sometimes people can feel that death is the only way out. But I think if you can see the carnage that is sometimes left behind, you can also see why people think it is selfish. I know people commit suicide because they are in pain, but it just seems to beget more pain that is visited on others.

I know they don't always think of that, or that they're in too much personal pain to care, and yet, even if you understand some of the rationale of the person who wants to commit suicide, it's very hard not to be angry about it.

And, to clarify, I'm referring to people who commit suicide for emotional reasons rather than having a terminal illness where you know the end is imminent.
