I'm actually doing a little work (like, actual scenes beyond notes) on a play about a trans man who's writing a biography of the person born as his great-great-aunt Daphne but who he suspects (from letters and diaries) that she was also trans and sometimes went as Donald. He's working with the modern relative of Daphne's husband. So there are scenes in the modern day, and about their ancestors in the 1910s and '20s. The same actors play both pairs, but I doubt they'll end up together in the modern day.

And sometimes I mess about with stuff on a police story set in the future, about 100 years from now, and 50 years after first contact. There aren't really any aliens in the story, but they're there in that universe. I do know that first contact takes place the same day the Cubs win the World Series, so no-one notices the Cubbies, lmao. Mostly I know a lot of character stuff and I have a couple mystery ideas for my detectives.
