Yeah, this. When I started following Hetalia I was expecting Germany would be demonized or something because that's how media usually treats Germans during WWII era. I was happy to be proven wrong. IMO it would be bullshit to represent that the country and German culture itself is evil. It's not. Nazis were evil yeah but they don't represent Germany as a whole.

I agree that Germany is a likable country. Have been there several times and always liked the experience. I think Ludwig is a good representation of that.
