Re: Why is death considered the easy way out?

Suicide is a hard subject to call on. It's easy to just go "oh they're selfish for killing themselves", but sometimes it's stems more complicated than that. I have a teenage cousin who attempted suicide over something stupidly petty whom I judged big time for being such an idiot. I've also had an uncle who had an assisted suicide over an incredibly vicious cancer which would have killed him anyway, but it would have been a very very painful and slow death otherwise.

So really, the suicide itself depends on the person in my opinion. But yes, it can be and usually is the easy way out.
