...Literally? Because among the many things I liked about that movie, one of the main things was that it wasn't a romance and was instead focused on friendship. (And I also dearly loved that it didn't have a princess motif either, because that's kinda tired.)

The bumbling idiot being set up as a romantic foil to video game Ripley was the final nail in the coffin of my dislike of the movie. And the first half was so cool.
