This show's fans has a bizarre way of sympathizing really hard with the murderers...I don't understand.

Sadly, it's not unique to to this fandom.

It's easier to sympathize with interesting characters than the ones with no personality.

And it does help that Lana P and RC are two of the strongest actors on the show, and are definitely given the most chances to show off their talents.

(I don't really sympathize with Rumple, but I will gladly watch anything he does because Robert Carlyle is magic.)
