For a moment, I actually thought this was a secret about shipping as in ordering junk online and prices of delivery or something. Because I am actually so over that. Except I keep buying things online anyway :(


Actually on topic though, no big. It probably does suck that it's what most fandoms talk about though :|a

Isn't it the worst when the shipping costs more than the actually product? I will seriously refuse to buy no matter how good the price.

Or if it's something small and it's like $20 to ship.

It is. I was turned on to Adagio Tea the other day, and I was pretty excited to order some of the "fandom blends", but then it turned out that it's pretty much a flat rate of $30 to ship international, regardless of the weight of the order (say, 3oz of tea. so whyyyyyyyyy).

I got a gift card for Amazon.com today actually, and I'm just laughing here because oh great it's going to cover shipping what fun.

Heh. I remember saying this.

The first time was when I'd gotten bored of the HP fandom and lost interest in shipping anyone (I basically shipped everyone with Harry). And then I discovered Merlin a few months later, and then about a year after that said I'd gotten over shipping anything (again).

And then I discovered Inception.

Said I was done.

And then I discovered Smallville. (yeah, mad late, i know)

Said I was done.

And then I discovered Supernatural.
And then I discovered Criminal Minds.
And then I discovered Teen Wolf.
And then I discovered Doctor Who.
And then suddenly I'm interested in Merlin and Harry Potter pairings again.

Yeah. IT NEVER ENDS.

The same thing happened around the time I finished college. I'm way out of college (Try about 8 years) and I'm still over shipping. I'll say something like, "Oh, Bolin and Korra are cute," but I won't actively ship it in any capacity.

I almost kind of feel the same way right now except I still ship the things I used to ship, but I haven't cared about shipping for any new characters or fandoms in YEARS despite the fact that I've gotten into a bunch of new series during that time, so it's really weird.

I'm functionally over shipping because the only thing that's gotten my blood pumping in recent years is Vin/Zane from Mistborn, and who the fuck is into that? No one on the internet that I've found, that's for sure. So I basically let it go out of necessity, and since then? Nothing.

Kinda miss it. But hey, if it ain't there, it ain't there. Cheers, OP.
