I enjoy fandom on tumblr but I never use general tags for it. Ever. Following people and looking at the source blogs for cool posts is totally the way to go.

General tags are great for things like "I want to look at pictures of Richard Ayoade". Not so good for "I wonder how people feel about how character X was portrayed in this episode".
