Some leaps have to be taken in order to properly mesh such different canon settings, and most people don't put up the effort to do so, and therefore it becomes just a bland mashup of pretty faces with no potential depth. I'm all for the pretty, but I like some substance too.

It feels like people try too hard, too, to make it happen. Stop trying to make Superwholock happen.
