I dunno, I like it but I'm only barely in the Doctor Who fandom so it's all really water off my back. I certainly don't care if people don't like it.

Judging from the other responses here I doubt getting into Doctor Who would help you like it more.

But your friends sound like they're either really self-absorbed or lack understanding that different people have different tastes, and therefore, like different things. Are they at least respectful about it? I would hope so otherwise it might just get a bit unbearable.
