I like Doctor Who. And while I'm watching it, I don't give a shit about ISSUES. I may think about the issues later, when I am not enjoying the show, but damned if I'm going to let it ruin the whole thing for me.

I don't care that Clara/Oswin/newmysterygirl kissed the Doctor. And I also still love River Song. I liked Amy and got so annoyed with Rose Tyler I almost hated her by the end.

Then allow me to rephrase.

I like Doctor Who. When I'm watching it, the ISSUES that may exist don't matter. I can think about all that later, because the show is basically just good and fun and inventive and interesting

I like Clara/Oswin/newmysterygirl, and even how she's nearly as manic and WTF-ish as the Doctor. I love River Song and I like Amy. I even liked Rose Tyler for a long time.

I also like the fans who are here for the squee and the fun.
