LOL. You couldn't be more off the mark. I'm pretty involved in quite a few fandoms, and I only ship one m/m pairing, and it's canon so I haven't gotten any flack for it. I mainly ship het pairings, and I ship two femslash pairings pretty hard.

And what? Boys don't fetishize lesbians? Because whenever anyone brings that up in fandom, all I hear are crickets. And sure, yeah, you could argue that femslash isn't as prevalent in fandom because fandom is mainly women, but millions of more dollars are being poured into making fake and fetishizing lesbian porn for men than fake and fetishizing gay porn for women. Yet...I still hear crickets.

Honestly, I think a lot of women would care more about a gay man or lesbian being beaten and killed than a man would care. Most of the disgusting homophobes I've met on the internet were men.
